Our team,
their story.
Yassir Menghoum is Design Engineer and Site Coordinator at POMEX. He shares his story by answering our questions.
Who are you?
I am an electromechanical engineer.
My professional journey began as a Project Manager, where I managed projects from A to Z, from technical design to final implementation.
What do you do at POMEX?
As a design engineer and site coordinator, I love seeing my projects take shape. The most challenging part of a project often lies on the ground, where real challenges emerge: gaining experience, finding solutions to problems, and pushing oneself beyond limits.
Why did you join POMEX?
My commitment to POMEX is driven by our work with diverse clients. This variety of experiences allows us to adapt to different environments.
At POMEX, mutual support is essential, and we are backed by our colleagues during project development and in times of difficulty (risk management, co-activity, consensus among stakeholders). My preferred fields are energy and transport, and we have the tools to work in these sectors.
One of your greatest achievements at POMEX?
Since joining POMEX, I have worked on a project to install surveillance cameras for a client. This project involved significant co-activity between production logistics and the safety of the personnel involved.
This experience made me more versatile and allowed me to better understand the factors that influence a project. As a new team member, I am eager to take on new challenges.
And outside POMEX?
My hobbies include combat sports and technical LEGO.
These activities help strengthen my determination and resilience by learning to manage mistakes and face complex situations.
Technical LEGO fosters regularity and understanding, while combat sports help me control my emotions and interact diplomatically with the world. After all, conflicts are like war: no one truly wins, and it costs time and energy.
